Businesses are supporting local residents from the East End of Sunderland, in a cleanup operation of their back yards. A real community spirit is under way with volunteers providing refreshments during the day and hanging baskets in a reward for all the effort. They will also be giving out leaflets of how to maintain the streets afterwards...
