Local sports heroes Micky Horswill and Bernie Slaven have entertained guests at a fundraising event on Tyne & Wear.
Micky who played for Sunderland in the 1970's and Bernie who made over 300 appearances for Middlesbrough (1985-1993) and also had a stint at Darlington, are hosts of The 3-Legends Football Phone-In, which is broadcasts on the Century Network North East (100-102fm). They were on hand to do a Q&A session about the new 2010-2011 season's fixtures which were revealed to guests during the S.A.F.C Foundation's charity breakfast
SAFC Foundation is the registered charity of Sunderland AFC, which last year helped nearly 35,000 young people and their families in the area.
